🥎🌧️🥎 Due to the inclement weather, the Varsity and JV Phoenix softball games scheduled to start at 4:00 PM vs. McCook Central Montrose today (5-22-26) have been cancelled.
Congratulations to these two Flyers on qualifying for state golf in Brookings on June 1st and 2nd! Tannen Auch finished 10th and Trey Maske finished 20th in a very competitive Region 3B.

TODAY in Bridgewater, the Girls 4x100 m relay broke their previous record with a New PR of 50.58!💨
The Flyer boys 𝗪𝗼𝗻 the Dan Clarke Relays, while the ladies took 🥉 3rd!
YESTERDAY in Alexandria, the Girls 4x200m relay broke their previous set record by almost 2 seconds with a new time of 1:45.77! 💨
🔥Rylee Peters also broke her own 300m hurdle record with a New PR of 45.73!💨
💪🏻 Alaric Knittel also broke his own record with a New PR of 165’9”!

🥎🥎The FMFA Phoenix softball team defeated Scotland/Menno on a windy Tuesday night behind a dazzling complete game from pitcher Harli Ross. She gave up only one run over seven innings and fanned 11 Trappers in the contest. Aubree Tschetter went 4 for 5 in the lead off spot, and Claire Loofbourrow added 3 hits including another homer. Next up for the Phoenix is a Varsity only game in Tyndall vs. Bon Homme on Monday, May 18th at 4:30 PM. Go Phoenix! 🐦🔥🐦🔥

At the Cornbelt Conference today,the girls 4 x 100m relay not only 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗞𝗘 the meet record set in 1981 by Hanson, but they also 𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗞𝗘 the FHS School record with a new time of 51.23. 🔥

Behind another strong offensive showing, the Phoenix softball team defeated Canton last night in Freeman. Claire Loofbourrow scooted around the bases for two in-the-park home runs. Her 7 RBIs powered the Phoenix to a 15-0 victory in 2 1/2 innings. The Phoenix head to Menno this afternoon to take on the Trappers. Varsity at 4:30 PM followed by JV. Go Phoenix!
