Hands-On Learning at Freeman High School Learning Center
Students at the Freeman High School Learning Center recently rolled up their sleeves and learned the art of making homemade noodles from scratch. This hands-on culinary activity not only taught valuable kitchen skills but also brought a sense of accomplishment and joy as the students enjoyed a warm bowl of delicious noodle soup they prepared themselves. A perfect blend of learning and fun!

🥎🥎After a tough 0-5 start to the season, the varsity SB FMFA Phoenix are starting to heat up with 3 wins in their last 4 games.🔥🐦🔥 Behind strong pitching from sophomore Harli Ross and freshman Isabel Waltner, the Phoenix offense has started to get on a roll. Led by sophomore Claire Loofbourrow, who over the last 4 games is 10-12 with 11 RBI, 3 SB, 7 RS, and 1 BB, the streaking Phoenix are now 3-6. Also collecting several multiple hit games in the recent run were sophomores Elizabeth Piehl and Harli Ross, and 7th grader Addison Waltner. #GoPhoenix! 🎉🙌🥎

With a 90% chance of rain and 50-degree temperatures in the forecast for tomorrow, the Flyer Invitational will be canceled. The noon dismissal will also be changed to a regular (full day) school day dismissing students at 3:30 pm, and afternoon bus routes will run at their regularly scheduled times.
