Did you know that agriculture is South Dakota's number one industry with more than a $21 billion economic impact each year?
Agriculture employs over 115,000 South Dakotans and contributes more than $645 million to the state's tax revenues. South Dakota has more than 31,000 farm and ranch families. Don't forget to thank a farmer for your meal today!
Thank you to everyone who supported the book fair this week! Your contributions raised over $350 to fund new books for the high school library! 📚 🎉Also, thank you to everyone who entered in the candy guessing game. The winner was Holly Becker in 7th grade with her guess of 1,764 M&Ms in the jar. 🍬Congratulations to her and thank you all for making the book fair a success ❤️!

Due to the volume of snow received and the forecasted windchill for tomorrow morning, the Freeman School District will run 2-hours late on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025. Bus routes will run 2 hours later than regularly scheduled and no breakfast will be served.

Due to the current weather conditions, the Freeman School District will be closing at 12:30 pm today. All evening activities have been postponed and practices have been canceled. The school board meeting will remain scheduled for 8:00 pm this evening.
