𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗬 𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗡! Rocky placed second today in Pole Vault with a PR vault of 12’9”.
That jump ties him with the FHS School Record held by Troy Wallman set in 1987!!
State Qualifiers, Talon Pitchford and Jorgen Baer also pole vaulted today! We are so proud of all of them and their season! 𝗚𝗢 𝗙𝗟𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦📣

The Phoenix SoDak16 softball game scheduled for today has been postponed due to the rain and wind conditions. The game will now be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in Scotland at 5:30 PM.

Congratulations to the Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy Phoenix softball team on making the SoDak16. The Phoenix will travel to play the Scotland/Menno Trappers in Scotland on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 5:30 PM. With a win, the Phoenix will advance to the State B Tournament next week in Aberdeen. Go Phoenix!
Summer is here, and there are a few important things to note about public access to our gyms. 1. Summer public access hours are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day. School activities, summer camps, etc. will take priority over public access activities. 2. The elementary gym will be unavailable from Monday, May 20, 2024 through Friday, May 31, 2024 while the floor in that gym is being refinished. Please use the main Jr.-Sr. High entrance during this time. 3. The Jr.-Sr. High School gym will be unavailable from July 1, 2024 to July 7, 2024 while the floor in that gym is being refinished. 4. The SDHSAA summer moratorium is from July 1, 2024 to July 7, 2024. There are no practices, open gyms, or school affiliated activities during this time. Have a great summer!

Come to the Freeman softball field today (5-17-24) to watch the final Phoenix home games before the SoDak16 on Tuesday, May 21. The Phoenix will play a varsity game vs. Avon at 1:30 PM followed by a V/JV pair of games vs. MCM at 4:00PM. Senior Night prior to the 4:00 PM game!

Earlier today, the 6th grade class took a field trip to the National Music Museum and the USD Medical Simulation lab. They had a blast!
Fantastic job to our HS golfers yesterday at the Irene-Wakonda Invite. Tannen Auch placed 2nd and Alaric Knittel placed 9th. The team placed 3rd overall. Great job, Flyers!
