Phoenix softball started the season with a pair of wins in Parkston today. The varsity team won 15-5 behind a 4-4 day from Claire Loofbourrow and solid pitching from Avary Thomas, Harli Ross, and Cadence Hofer. The JV girls won 25-3 after a big 14 run third inning. Go Phoenix!

The Phoenix softball JV quad originally scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM in Marion has been cancelled. The Varsity DH scheduled for the same day in Parkston has now been changed to a Varsity game followed by a JV game. The varsity game will start at 4:30 PM.

Due to the forecasted winds and blowing snow conditions, the Freeman School District will be closed on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024. All evening activities and the kindergarten/Jr. kindergarten round-up have been postponed.

The Freeman School District will start 2 hours late on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024. Buses will run 2 hours later than usual on open roads only and breakfast will not be served tomorrow. DIAL screening for the Elementary will be postponed to a later date.
