▪️Rylee Peters started our day running the 300m hurdles!🏃🏻♀️➡️Her time was 47.64 as she continues to chase after the school record of 47.42!
▪️Our Boys Medley relay set a new PR with a time of 3:54.02! Running that relay was Luke Peters, Chris Aasen, Luke Miller and Braydan Mangel!
▪️Tate Sorensen won his 400m dash heat setting a new PR of 52.68.

The girls relay consisting of Peyton McCune, Zenovia Butler, Vaida Ammann and Makenzie Scharberg placed 6th with a time of 1:52.39 and set a new PR.
The boys relays consisting of Luke Peters, Tate Sorensen, Chris Aasen and Rocky Ammann placed 2nd with a time 1:32.45 and also set a new PR!

Due to wet course conditions at Valley View in Freeman, the JH Cornbelt Conference golf meet has been moved to the Irene Golf Course. The meet will start at 12:00 PM instead of 10:00 AM.

Due to poor field conditions in Gayville-Volin, the Phoenix softball team will now participate in a triangular with Bon Homme and Viborg-Hurley in Yankton tomorrow afternoon instead. The Phoenix will play against VH at 1:00 PM and Bon Homme at 3:00 PM. Go Phoenix!
Reminder - Freeman Public School District is offering Driver Education this summer. See the attached letter and enrollment form for all the details. Only a few spots in the class remain. Enrollment will be opened to neighboring districts after May 10, 2024. Accomodations for Spanish speaking students will be provided.
