🎶🎵Congratulations to Jocelyn Lee, Liam Loofbourrow, Reeslyn Hofer, and Kylie Neuharth for being selected to regional and state honor choirs following their recent auditions. Jocelyn, Liam, and Reeslyn were selected from hundreds of applicants from the Midwest region for the 2026 Midwestern Region ACDA Honor Choirs. Liam, Reeslyn, and Kylie were selected from hundreds of applicants from South Dakota for the 2026 SDACDA Junior Honor Choirs. Congratulations to these four singers! 🙌🎶🎉

Anyone who purchased shirts from the Dome and you see the Flyer logo and not the Phoenix logo can contact Linda Luke at the Marion School (she works in the library) to get them remade. She would like the t-shirts by 11/26/2025 so she can take them to the person that has to remake the shirts. Please contact the Marion or Freeman High School if you have any questions.

What a trip! Yesterday afternoon, the Phoenix headed to the Dakota Dome for the 9AA FB Championship game following an exciting pep rally and send off. Last night at the dome, the Phoenix put an exclamation point on their perfect season with a dominating win over the Elkton-Lake Benton Elks in the championship game. An amazing way to end the final season of the Phoenix FB cooperative. Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, families, and fans of the team. The team also hauled in a load of accolades last night starting with Dustin Tschetter being honored as the SDFBCA Head Coach of the Year. Following the game, Riley Tschetter was named MVP, Luke Peters was named the games most outstanding running back, and Tate Sorensen was named the game's most outstanding lineman. A perfect end to a perfect season. Go Phoenix!

If you come to the door with a purse or bag, you will be encouraged to return the bag to your vehicle to securely store the item while attending the game. You can also transfer your items into a provided zip-lock style bag and dispose of the bag that does not meet the new guidelines.

This email contains information pertaining to the structure of this upcoming week.

First and foremost, congratulations to the Phoenix football player, cheerleaders, statisticians, managers, and coaches for making it to the 9AA football state finals! A special congratulations also goes out to head coach Dustin Tschetter for being selected as the class 9AA football head coach of the year!

If you plan to support the Phoenix , the state finals will be played in the Dakota Dome on Thursday, November 13th at 7:00 pm. Below is a link to all information pertaining to the event.

We will offer a fan bus for students in 7th-12th grade. Students must sign up for the fan bus by Tuesday at 3:30 pm in the Jr./Sr. High office. The fan bus will leave the Jr./Sr. High parking lot at 4:50 pm on Thursday.

School WILL BE A REGULAR (full day) SCHEDULE on Thursday. There will be a Pep Rally in the Jr./Sr. High main gym at 2:00 pm. This event is open to the public. 🎉

Tuesday WE WILL NOT HAVE SCHOOL in observance of Veterans Day. Attached to the email is information about our Veterans Day Program on November 10th, 2025. This event will be in our Elementary Gym and is open to the public. 🎖️

Finally, WE WILL HAVE SCHOOL ON-TIME tomorrow morning. Please plan for a slower commute as the road are experiencing patchy ice conditions. ❄️🧊

🎉🎉Congratulations to the 🐦‍🔥 Phoenix on defeating the defending 9AA champs, Hamlin, to advance to the 9AA State Championship game in the Dakota Dome in Vermillion, SD. The Phoenix will take on the Elkton-Lake Benton Elks at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

🎟️Tickets: Available at GoYotes.com/Tickets - $15.00 for Adult Seating, $10.00 for student seats located in the designated student section (Home Section P)
🏠 The Phoenix are the designated home team and will wear dark jerseys
🚘USD is charging $5 (cash only) per vehicle to park in the yellow areas designated on the attached map. Students park for free by showing school ID. Green areas are general parking areas and are free. ADA parking is also free with a valid handicap permit.
