This message is a reminder that the Freeman School District will dismiss students at 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, September 1st, 2023. The football game is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm on Friday. An amended calendar for the school year is included in the email that was sent with this message. This calendar is posted on the school district website. There is also no school on Monday, September 4th for the observance of Labor Day.

The South Dakota Services for the Deaf has rescheduled the free hearing screenings at our school for September 25th. The screenings will include grades: K, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 11. If your child does not pass the screening, our facility will contact you with the results. If you do not want your child to participate, please contact Lori.Tschetter@k12.sd.us prior to September 25th or your child will be included as planned.

Even though the temps don't reflect it, football season is coming! Phoenix fans were treated to an open practice last Thursday in Freeman. Our home opener is this Friday, August 18 at 7:00 PM vs. Burke. Come on out to the field! The game will be streamed on YouTube and NFHS.
