SDHSAA Summer Contact Moratorium (July 3 - July 5, 2020)

The SDHSAA Summer Contact Moratorium takes place from July 3, 2020 through July 5, 2020. Freeman School District 33-1 gyms and weight room will be closed to all access during the moratorium. Facilities will reopen for student and public access on Monday, July 6, 2020.

Public Access to School Gymnasiums and Weight Room

The school board has determined that public access to the school gymnasiums and weight room will resume, effective immediately. In order to have your building credentials re-activated, you will need to sign and return the following liability waiver to the Jr./Sr. High School Office. Once the office has received the waiver, your credentials will be reactivated.

Public Access Liability Waiver

Specific rules and regulations regarding COVID-19 will be posted at the entrance to the building. We ask that you please respect those rules and guidelines and aid in our effort to combat COVID-19. Additionally, for the near future you will be required to use the north auxiliary/elementary gymnasium doors to enter and exit the building, as the main gymnasium will be closed for an extended period of time beginning on Monday, June 22nd due to teacher in-service training, bleacher installation, and the classroom portion of our summer driver education program.

As a reminder, direct adult supervision of students (anyone under the age of 18 or that has not graduated from Freeman High School) in the gymnasiums/weight room is a requirement of all individuals issued access to district facilities.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Jr./Sr. High School Office.
